The 2023 Military Academy Cup Cybersecurity Competition was held in the Information Security Education and Training Center of Chung Cheng Institute of Technology, NDU on May 11 and 12. The Army, Navy, and Air Force Academies were invited to participate in this competition. International military teams have been invited: Virginia Military Institute, The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, Texas A&M University, and Norwich University. International teams can either observe or take part in online activities.

The competition was carried out in two phases. The first phase was the comprehensive design of network security theory and practice into task scenarios. Each team carried out a competition to break through the level according to the task guidance. In the second stage, each team will take over the hacked network service environment, and repair various loopholes before keeping the service uninterrupted, to prevent hackers from intruding.

We sent six students to form a team and participated in the competition. CPU students solved each question in the forensic category of Capture the Flag (CTF) and were invited to share their skills with all of the participants. Every student gained an unforgettable experience.
