On October 31, 2023, Professor Yao-Tsung Wu, the instructor for the "The Code of Criminal Procedure" course, led a group of 11 students and faculty members from the Department of Information Management on an insightful visit to the New Taipei District Prosecutors Office and the New Taipei District Court. The briefing was presided over by Prosecutor General Li-Chen Yu, and the visit encompassed the following locations:
The Civil Service Center at the District Prosecutors Office.
The Executive Division.
The Police Office (including the electronic check-in system).
Detention facilities and the 101 Investigation Court.
The 202 Remote Video Investigation Court or UI Video Court, the 309 Cozy Conversation Room, the 402 Isolation Interrogation Room (Identification Room), and the Urine Collection Room.
The Civil Service Center at the District Court.
Observing proceedings in the Criminal Court at the District Court.
The visit proved to be an enriching and educational experience for both the students and faculty members, yielding valuable insights and knowledge.
